I am surprised Texas is not on that list. Down around Brownsville area you can't hardly even gt a job that will pay above min. wage. Simply because they know they can fill the spots with illegals who will gladly work for that.

I have no problem with immigration as long as it is done legally. Just as my forefathers did and 90% of yours also. An when they immigrated to this wonderful Country in search of a better life, they where required to learn the language of this Country! Not as it is now, where WE must learn THEIRS!

Very true, very true indeed. As far as learning any better goes....we may a little bit here. But for the most part we have a tendency to overlook such things in the name of profit. Yes the demand is great for that oil, BUT, the almighty dollar is at the bottom line. I mean, we are letting them(Big Oil) make 10's of BILLIONS a year so that our demand won't go to crazy with it being priced where they only make a moderate profit. If that were done gas would be barely over a dollar a gallon. And we would provably triple out consumption simply because we could afford to.

Personally, I think that they should be limited to say...20 billion a year. (Yes that is an enormous amount but considering that is only half what they each are showing in profit now...not so much) And that other 20 billion from each on of them be used to fund research an development of alternative sources. An part of that could also be assigned to dept reduction for that matter. I know the argument would be..."well that's not fair to us that you only take our moneys"...an to that I say OH WELL!
