Whenever I went to stores with my kids or grand kids when they were young I held them by the hand. Any body try to harm them would first have to go through me..

Wonder what the little boy said? Anyway she had no right to touch this woman's child even if she was "trying to help"

I've been out in public and seen some really bad ass kids that needed someone to snatch them up and tell them to chill but their parents just don't do it.

I am not for administering corporal punishment on a strangers child but, the problem is telling a child to behave is like telling me not to go to a buffet not gonna happen... The child needs to be spanked by its own Mother/Father, not me. Now, There have been times I wanted to snatch them up and jerk a knot in its little tail but it is not my place, I think the person should have scolded the Mother for not disciplining her unruly child.

I can't lie, I would have done it. I remember back when I was growing up, my neighbors used to spank me, and then tell my parents what I had done when they got home. I learned real quick not to mess around. But I agree, the mother of said child should have taken care of it herself.

no way in hell that woman should have touched that child. Telling the parent off should have been enough.

Ummm if some random stranger tried to discipline my two year old I would have gone ballistic. It's easy for people w/o kids to get all pissy. Recently at Christmas I was in a store these two boys were fighting while the mother was trying to shop, as I was. She ignored their physical fighting. I couldn't get past them to find what I was looking for. I got frustrated and moved to the other side of the counter she followed and I told a friend "That mom needs a smack". It was hilarious she heard me. Later on across the mall she shot a dark look at me. I Smirked at her.

I would never ever lay a hand on someone's child but have no problem telling the parent they need to do something about their kid. It's how you deliver the message which can be tricky.

I so understand why she did it. That doesnt mean its right. I just find myself wanting to smack the parents of those kind of kids.

Hey, if parents arent going to control their children or teach them respect, someone has to.
I still think their should be a test to see if you can multiply.
