thats awesome that they are helping his american hero i just hope it doesn't become like that extreme makeover show and were the people get there dream house but cant seem to afford it.

I agree. I believe there have been two houses built by Extreme Makeover that have gone into foreclosure this year. If these people can't afford the repairs in the first place, how do they expect them to be able to maintain a new house 3 or 4 times bigger than what they had?

We have one of these underway here in Kern County. This guy lost both his legs in Iraq. People are donating time, materials and services to get his house done. Nothing is coming out of his pocket. Even though we are the armpit of California, we still have a lot of good citizens in our community.

well to be considered the 'armpit' in my book is harsh if your community is rallying to come to the aid of a stricken soldier... lets see that happen for real on Rodeo Drive...
