It's going to be years before classified information relating to the investigation is released. I feel bad for the families and friends of all of the victims. We always want to know WHY and we don't want to be patted on the back and told, "We can't really tell you why but it's going to be OK," when we have so many questions.
The only 'why' I can think of is because some people are evil and bent on the destruction of others.

Sure you can bomb some ones home and not expect them to fight back! I mean look at you for instance. These people fly two planes, mail anthrax, and make multiple attempts to smuggle nukes into YOUR home. And still you do not fight back, if you as and American (if you are an American) can endure that and not fight back I do in fact expect these people to endure bombings and not fight back.

And the point of continuing to fight a war that cannot be won is fighting it so that it is not lost. It has become blatantly clear that you are not familiar with any aspect of war from our little debates here so I'll try to put this simple terms that even you can grasp.

Again you fabricate lies. Wars can be won. History proves that. I realize you weren't paying attention in history class so I'll give you a few examples.
Genghis Khan won more wars than you have fingers and toes AND lived to die of old age. Alexander the great won lots of wars further expanding the roman empire. England won wars over Scotland and the Vikings.
America has a long and proud history of victory in almost every military engagement.
What I don't understand is peace. It's a pipe dream, it has never existed EVER in history because by our technological mean we are incapable of it, it is a delusional fantasy that might be able to be accomplished in the far distant future, long after we loose our moon and the sun dies.
War will become obsolete when resources become infinite. Only when every person in the world is born with a magic lantern that they can rub an infinite amount of times for an infinite amount of wishes will peace even become a physical possibility. And even then you will have some one like Bin Laden who doesn't want anyone else to have those magic lamps and fight to take them away from each other.
War is a perfectly natural reaction of our species. There is only so much oil, so much food to eat, so much clean water to drink, and we WILL fight over all of them until the end of time.
Nothing you can ever say or do will change this.
