Those are some crack reporters.
Article excerpt from yahoo.com —
"WASHINGTON - A Coast Guard training exercise in the Potomac River near the Pentagon sparked confusion amid Friday's commemorations of the Sept. 11 anniversary. Media reports that shots were being fired in the river sent FBI agents scrambling to the scene and led the nearest airport to briefly ground flights.
No shots were fired as part...

As for the errors of the networks, he said: "Before we report things like this, checking would be good."

I just wonder how long it took for them to train Obama to put his hand over his heart in that pic above.

no kidding right?

Just cuz I don't drool over every word he says. Tell me one thing the man has done good while in office. I have seen nothing yet.

Tell me one good thing George W Bush did in two TERMS? Drooling over his every word is one thing, making random and utterly nonsensical potshots is another. If you hate "extremists" so much then don't be one on the other end of the spectrum, heh.

Hey, I bash on Bush too. I just don't think Obama is going to be the "Superman" he claims to be and grabs us out of this.

Neither do I but does that mean he's the illegitimate Muslim anti-christ? Probably not. Worse GW really got was taken for the boundlessness of his own ineptitude, which was really rather hard for *anyone* to deny.

it is the potshots you take against him that make me feel that way about you..
but.. at least you are consistant...
i don't think he is going to be the "superman" either.. but i also feel that he should be given a fair shot. it hasn't even been a year... let him work through his term and give him a fair shot at the job..

Seriously? Seriously? First it was, the man has only been in office for 3 months. Give him a couple more months. Now, because he has put us on this speeding bullet (if you will) towards Cryptonite you are changing your words from months to years.
And the reason I am using the Superman reference is because those were his exact words during his campaign. "I am Superman and I'm gonna save the world".

i have said from the beginning... people are expecting too much out of him too quickly... i don't expect him to be superman and get everything done in a year... this country has been steadily going down the drain for years... i don't expect it to be turned around in a year.. two years.. heck i don't really expect it to be done in four years.. but i do feel he should be given a fair chance to do his job

What has he done that has doomed us? What has HE done... that has doomed us? Reality check: we were half-past screwed months before he even took office.

Like I said before, he has taken the downward spiral we were in already and sped it up faster than any one else has in the past.

Like you said, you and many others. Do you actually have any proof that anything he's done has "sped up" this alleged downward spiral? The country is severely in debt, yeah that sucks, but what else is happening?
Only thing I see going on is a bunch of people pointing fingers and staunchly defending the economic system which caused this mess to begin with while trying to pin it on someone whom it had very little to do with in the first place. Hell, if no one wants to fix the system who cares if its broken anyhow?

Just about the whole structure of our government needs to be fixed. A new president does nothing now days because our president is nothing but a puppet. Obama is a puppet, Bush was a puppet Clinton was a puppet and I could go on.
Until we get a free thinker in that seat our country will continue on its path of demise. I was hoping Obama would be that free thinker but hes been a let down so far.

No bush jr was a puppet for his daddy.... Obama is a celebrity on wheels in the white house...was he qualified for office ..NO ...what has he done Nothing... Can he do something YES the house is in his favor. He can do alot. BUT we have a amateur in office why is he up there! CUZ PEOPLE who dont know SQUAT about politics are voting and giving there two cents! bah... thats my serious moment of the day

It's a political paradigm, two sides of one coin fighting each other, just for show. Anyone with any real true intentions would not have a snowball's chance in hell of getting elected. As for the obama thing, it is as simple as this, `meet the new boss, same as the old boss'.

All it is, is "meet the new boss, same as the old boss", and so far that IS ALL it has been. simple as that !!!!

Was brought back to this thread from a vote. But since I'm here Van, it's coming up on a year now. Do you care to change your mind about the person we have running the country? I know I've run into plenty of people who voted for him who are seriously regretting that vote now.
