What ever happened to letting kids be kids? I agree with this article schools have went too far so have the police. Does this all come down to bad parenting? I don't think so anymore! It goes deeper than that now it's society.

I think some teachers and principals are afraid to punish their students themselves nowadays.

Well they aren't allowed to do things like we was as a kid. but measures can be taken without resorting to pressing criminal charges.

Combine laziness in parenting with a dictatorial government plus a gestapo-like police force and you end up with what we have now. Its one more step down on the spiral that is rapidly growing steeper by the day.

They put all of these rules in place without any oversight or approval of the community. I guess people have become so used to being bent over and given it dry in the ass they do not know how to stop this anymore. I guess we are way beyond the point where any revolution will ever happen. Now we will be the ones being shot at like in Iran and China soon for protesting the government and the sheeple will sit and watch us die not believing they are next...

Well I know they can't administer corporal punishment, least in a public school. I'm just saying that they feel the need now-a-days to skip detentions, or even 1-on-1 talking and go straight to the severe.
