The government is going to tell you what kind of car to drive (glad to see that horrible Pontiac go, and who do people think they are driving those Hummers!), what light bulb to use, find new ways to control your behavior and find more ways to tax you....er, I mean, create new "fees". And blame everything else on the "last eight years". I think I will skip it.

Actually Bombtrac, I almost made the same mistake until I read the actual article from Yahoo. It's the Fox Network (the channel that airs Simpsons, Fringe, House) that's not airing the news conference as opposed to the Fox News Channel (Bill O'Reilly, Hannity etc) which will be airing it.

I completely understand and agree with their decision from a financial standpoint. The networks simply cannot afford to lose advertising dollars and conversely, it's not fair for advertisers to lose money as well. Not to mention that I'm pissed that there's a possibility of LOST being bumped as well.

I believe that Fox has 2 of its 3 channels airing the conference and it would cause big disruption of the American Idol show which has some live components to it as well as audience participation.

Fox NEWS is carrying it..as is the Fox Business network.
