That's ok but it will take a decade to see results even if the oil companies locate a producing oil platform there. We need an alternative energy source. America produces less than 50% of its consumed oil. We have been at this production level since oil started coming out of the middle east after WWII. While it will take a decade to make an alternative source viable as well, I really feel we could produce an alternative before we could find enough oil left in the world to fill our needs. It would be nice to see oil usage drop also. However, lower oil usage brings out another ugly side, tax revenues from oil for both states and federal. That's a big chunk of change the government loses every time the American consumer cuts back on oil usage.

10 years is a politicians lie,the drillers say anywhere from 1 to 6 years and I hear there making a new refinery so that will help boost production.

Lol i ride my bike too , but with the extreme high gasprices lately i nowadays go to work with the bycicle :P.
