BombTrack says,
So the guy is drunk on the BART system and the cop unfortunately has to man handle him. It sucks when this stuff makes headlines. I do not feel sorry for the guy at all. I actually feel bad for the cop.

if you've seen the video, he doesn't use that much force. sure the window broke, but from the angle of view, it looks like the 'victim' punched it. it doesn't look like his head ever made contact.

sorry, i disagree. i don't think that was unreasonable force, and there's no tellin' if the officer had a tazer. the dude couldn't handle himself drunk in public and you get treated like that. in my opinion.

Don't make a fool of yourself in public then cry about it when you get put in your place.

And yeah, another lovely example of "experts" on the internet acting like they know everything and are authorized to make a call based on incomplete evidence.

But of course.

Personally I'm still trying to figure out what the hell the video actually shows; that glass must be pretty weak to have shattered in the first place because it doesn't look like the "impact", whatever it actually was made with, was very hard at all.

This cop was over the top. This is the same place another Bart cop shot a man in the back while he was handcuffed so this isn't the fist time something like this has happened in the same area. Seems to be a ongoing problem with them.

Yall can say what you want but the video they show, shows this man following along with the cop so why was there a need to slam him into anything? Why not just slam him to the ground immediately like I have seen on countless cop shows.

One thing I wanna know is why the suspect is getting charged with battery on a officer with injury. It was the officers dumbass who got his face cut up with glass he broke.

Why are you so sensationalized? There is nothing remotely "over the top" depicted in that video... wow, look.. he's walking the guy over towards the wall.. that's so bombastic and unexpected!

Serious, what's "over the top"?

It's actually half wall, if you didn't notice and if that's the nearest "solid vertical surface" then it counts enough as a wall. Either way, it fails the point that there is nothing about the situation which looks overblown and it doesn't even look as if the glass pane was struck with any significant impact.

Personally, I would think that glass used in a public area like that would be of a significant enough resilience that it could stand a knock or two, or even a solid blunt-force impact.
