Technology is not evil, just those in charge of it is who I'm worried about.
Why do they need to know my whereabouts anyhow?

I wouldn't call it crying. The problem is that the large majority of Americans trust the government. They think that all this talk about monitoring and such is either a conspiracy theory or paranoia. They need to be educated. They need to know that the government firmly believes that they are not competent to make decisions affecting their lives. The government believes they need to monitor the people because only the government knows what is best for them and the people will always do the worst thing for them. So by monitoring it allows the government to ensure the people are making the right decisions. For the past 15 years, if you stay in a hotel the police know about it within hours. The government now has real time access to your bank account and credit cards. They are tracking your purchases. The more they know about you the easier it becomes for them to control you. Hence the reason for all of this. When the government institutes martial law and becomes despotic, they will use all of this tracking schemes to track everyone down and ensure their compliance with the new government laws. Already foreign nations are mocking us with caricatures of Obama and an enemies list showing the Constitution, free thinking, and Freedom of Speech as his top enemies. He has already proven this by extending the unconstitutional Patriot act, suspending freedom of the press and freedom of speech in the Gulf Coast region, and saying the People and the States do not have the authority to question the government.

Why are you so paranoid that that know? I can't say it enough: if you're so worried about them, then don't elect them.

It doesn't matter who you vote for because they'll just say "Oops, the voting machines are broken" and "recount" them again until they get the result they want.
It isn't the technology I am worried about. It is those behind the scenes I'm worried about.

Then I ask you again, why are you fighting the technology? If your votes don't matter, what does your concern for government surveillance matter? Why "educate" people on WHAT is happening rather than WHY it is happening, since WHY is the root of the problem?

The very fact the government has this technology and uses it is unconstitutional. I seek to educate people on the fact that we are supposed to abide by the Constitution. Our politicians swear allegiance to and to uphold the Constitution, yet so very few are keeping true to their oaths. This nation worked and was the most powerful nation on the planet when we followed the Constitution. Now that we have stepped away from it we are failing. Call it conspiracy theories or paranoia but the facts are the facts. We are on the same path that Germany was in the 1930's and the Roman Empire back in its time along with so many other nations. We are on a very short road to tyranny.

who said I'm fighting the technology?
I am simply informing the people.
it is up to them to believe it or not.
just like it is your choice to believe the story or to discredit it.
take it or leave it.
obviously you are taking it and defending it.

No, genius. I'm saying that fighting the symptoms isn't going to topple the regime and its fricken' pointless. Who cares what you can stop "THEM" from doing if "THEY" are still the ones in power. That doesn't strike you maybe as a perfect textbook example of futility? As opposed to, I don't know... maybe educating people on the fact that they DO have the power to actually CHANGE how our government works, rather than just trying to stop them from screwing with us?

I have to laugh but it is so sad. You people just don't get it, but that's why we are on the road we're on! Again, I'm going to slap you in the face with it: if they're violating the constitution then why don't you fight them instead of their policies? They'll just make more of them.
